POSITION OVERVIEW

Meybohm Commercial is seeking a driven Commercial Sales Associate to join the firm’s brokerage platform. This role is the front line of the company’s market presence—responsible for generating deal flow, advising clients on sales and leasing transactions, and building lasting relationships across the Augusta/CSRA market and beyond.

The Commercial Sales Associate operates as both advisor and deal-maker. Backed by Meybohm’s institutional-quality research, marketing, and capital markets capabilities, this individual will have the platform to deliver sophisticated service to landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, investors, and developers across all commercial property types.

CLIENT ADVISORY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Proactively prospect, cultivate, and maintain client relationships with property owners, tenants, investors, developers, and business operators

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on leasing, sales, acquisitions, and disposition strategy—always leading with market intelligence and the client’s long-term interests

• Develop and execute personal business plans with measurable annual production targets

• Build a pipeline of exclusive listings and advisory mandates through networking, cold outreach, community involvement, and referral development

• Identify cross-selling opportunities across Meybohm’s five business lines: Brokerage, Property Management, Asset Management, Capital Markets, and Development

TRANSACTION EXECUTION

• Manage the full lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions from initial client engagement through LOI, due diligence, and closing

• Prepare and present broker opinions of value, comparative market analyses, and investment analyses to support client decision-making

• Negotiate lease and sale terms on behalf of clients, balancing market positioning with deal economics

• Coordinate with legal counsel, lenders, title companies, inspectors, and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate closings

• Maintain transaction documentation and CRM records in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

 

MARKET INTELLIGENCE & POSITIONING

• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the Augusta/CSRA commercial real estate market including vacancy trends, absorption, rent levels, cap rates, and development activity

• Leverage our Propriety platform to identify market opportunities and inform client strategy

• Contribute market insights and deal flow intelligence to the broader Meybohm Commercial team, supporting capital markets and asset management initiatives

MARKETING & BRAND REPRESENTATION

• Partner with the marketing team to produce institutional-quality listing presentations, property flyers, offering memorandums, and email campaigns

• Represent Meybohm Commercial at industry events, community organizations, and professional associations

• Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership through market commentary, case studies, and educational content

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Active Georgia real estate license required

• 1–5+ years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, or a demonstrated track record in a related field (residential real estate at scale, commercial lending, corporate real estate, or business development)

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Self-motivated with the discipline to build and manage a personal book of business

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and commercial real estate data platforms

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Deep familiarity with or commitment to building expertise in the Augusta/CSRA market

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CCIM candidacy or designation

• Existing client relationships and deal pipeline in the CSRA or Southeast market

• Experience across multiple property types (retail, office, industrial, multifamily, land)

• Familiarity with investment analysis, cap rates, NOI, and lease structures

• Involvement in professional organizations such as CCIM, SIOR, ICSC, or local commercial real estate associations
