Investment Analyst Intern

POSITION OVERVIEW

Meybohm Commercial is seeking a motivated Investment Analyst Intern to gain hands-on experience across the Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Brokerage functions. This internship is designed for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing careers in commercial real estate, finance, or investment management.

The Intern will work alongside senior team members on live transactions, financial modeling, market research, and investor-facing materials. This is a production role—not an observation role—and top performers will be positioned for full-time opportunities upon graduation.

FINANCIAL ANALYSIS & RESEARCH

• Assist in building and maintaining acquisition underwriting models in Excel, including discounted cash flow, direct capitalization, and sensitivity analyses

• Compile market research on submarket fundamentals including vacancy, rent growth, supply pipeline, and demographic trends

• Gather and organize comparable sales, lease comparables, and operating benchmarks for use in investment memoranda and client presentations

• Support quarterly asset reporting by pulling data from Yardi and property management systems

DEAL EXECUTION SUPPORT

• Assist with due diligence workstreams including lease abstracting, title and survey review coordination, and environmental report organization

• Help prepare offering memorandums, investment committee memoranda, and investor presentations under the direction of senior team members

• Track deal pipeline activity in ClickUp and maintain organized deal files through all phases of execution

BROKERAGE & MARKETING SUPPORT

• Support the commercial brokerage team with property marketing materials, CRM data entry, and prospect list development

• Assist with competitive market analyses for leasing and sales assignments

• Contribute to the production of institutional-quality client deliverables including flyers, proposals, and market reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling preferred

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

• Interest in commercial real estate investment, development, or brokerage

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Coursework or prior internship experience in real estate, private equity, or investment banking

• Familiarity with Argus, CoStar, or Yardi

• Pursuing or planning to pursue a Georgia real estate license
